What You Will Do
This is a back-end developer position responsible for engineering and maintaining server-side components of apps for web and mobile. You will be responsible for architecting, engineering, and implementing code for new and current projects and features. You will be working with a group of awesome people who share the same excitement and passion in a small, family run business.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage server-side development for mobile and web projects, including new features, product updates, and new product ideation/prototyping.
- Create and develop databases and APIs.
- Work with established APIs to integrate into projects.
- Build user facing web pages.
- Work closely with designers, other developers and management.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience with server-side/back-end development.
- Expert understanding of PHP, Ruby, Python or similar language.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JS.
- Strong awareness of various platforms for cloud hosting and ability to assess on a project by project basis.
- Experience writing and maintaing unit tests.
- A preoccupation with staying on top of web and mobile technology trends.
- Good organization skills, including the ability to manage your own projects and time.
- Strong desire to work in and contribute to the team.
Bonus Points
- You have worked on iOS apps in the past.
- Experience developing and scaling applications running on AWS EC2/RDS/S3.
- Ability to write code in multiple languages.

We are building a small team whose goal is to take ideas and work together to quickly iterate from concept to working prototype. From there we will assess the marketability of the product and rapidly build to bring to market. Our goal is to move fast and build out concepts focused on the imaging space, but not limiting ourselves to it.

These applications are both internal to support business operations and externally for our clients to use when interacting with WHCC. You will be responsible for architecting, engineering, and implementing code for new and current projects and features. You will be working with a group of awesome people who share the same excitement and passion in a small, family run business.
Responsibilities
- Client and server-side development for desktop and web projects, including new features, product updates, and new product ideation/prototyping.
- Create and develop databases and APIs.
- Work with established APIs to integrate into projects.
- Work closely with designers, other developers and management.
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience with server-side/back-end or desktop development.
- Expert understanding of .NET, PHP, Ruby, Python or similar language.
- Strong understanding of SQL.

Customer Service
MN (Eagan) - Customer Service Representative - Seasonal
Be a part of one of the fastest-growing professional digital photographic and press imaging company in the United States. White House Custom Colour provides customers with the finest professional quality photographic products and excellent customer service.
We are seeking talented, customer-focused team players for our Seasonal Customer Service Representative positions. If you have a background in photography or experience in the photography industry and are passionate about providing effective customer service to White House Custom Colour clients and client leads, consider applying. Positions are full-time working Sunday-Thursday or Monday-Friday. Hours of work will be one of the following shifts: 7:50 AM - 4:20 PM, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, or 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM.
Job Duties may include:
- Taking inbound calls and emails from clients regarding orders, products, and other inquiries and providing information accurately and in a timely manner.
- Making outbound calls and sending emails to clients when information is needed to complete an order.
- Following detailed procedures to handle client orders and any changes that are requested, working in a fast-paced environment.
- Partnering with customer service managers to meet and exceed client service expectations.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years customer service experience
- Strong background in photography and/or experience working in the photography industry
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in photography or related field strongly preferred
- Computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office, intermediate level in Photoshop, and minimum typing speed of 35 words per minute
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong phone presence
- Detail oriented with good organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Effective problem solving skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to perform expedient follow-up on all assignments
