We offer a variety of photographic products for professional digital photographers. We have choosen and implemented software and systems that are the most flexible and easy for our clients, as well as integrated and efficient at the lab.
Our most widely used system is also our most flexible and most straightforward. With no software outside of Photoshop and your computers operating system needed to prepare orders, everything is done with files placed into appropriate print size folders. We produce one print from each file in that folder. If you need a second copy of a file, just put the file in the folder twice. Our easy pricing prices all prints of one size the same, with no confusing first print, second printing pricing. If you’re ordering more then just a couple copies, we have a quantity print program that doesn’t involve duplicating the same file over and over again. Thrifty Output is a non-color corrected service, which gives you complete control over the final color and look of your products.
We believe this system is still one of the most flexible and straightforward systems in our industry. You can tune it to how you work. Odds are you have your files open in Photoshop anyways, why not use the industry standard editing tool to crop and edit your files? If you want to submit one order for each portrait session, you can submit as many orders per day as you wish. Or maybe you want to work on one order a day, submitting a much larger order containing many sessions worth of work. You can create folder templates with your most commonly used sizes, and you can order your prints as quickly as you can drag and drop them into folders. You can even have multiple people at different workstations working on the same print order for WHCC. When your order is complete, we have a simple online form where you specify the amount of files submitted and any finishing services you require on those sizes.
Our Thrifty Output system of print size folders is not for everyone. If you do not want to take full control of your color correcting and retouching, we can do that for you on LabPrints orders. You still get the industry leading prices from our Thrifty Output system, but with a simple, intuitive user interface for ordering, cropping and managing your images. You never have to leave LabPrints for basic print ordering. When you have your order complete, you can have it uploading to us with three mouse clicks. LabPrints also has an available “Template Designer” that lets you build multi-image composites and wedding album pages directly in the program. The composites are sent to the lab as layers, and we can still color correct the individual elements if you want.
LabPrints is great for ordering many different sizes and finishes from the same file, perfect for finished print orders for you clients. Proofing, proofbooks, fine art prints and Pick-A-Pack are not available through LabPrints and should be ordered via our FTP system.
