Float Wraps: 2010 PPA Hot One Award! | |
Professional Photographer annually honors today's hottest new gear and equipment for pro photographers. We're happy to announce that WHCC's Float Wrap product won a 2010 Hot One Award in the Display Box or Item category! Look for the announcement of the 2010 Hot One winners appearing on the Professional Photographer website in early 2010 with detailed information in the February 2010 issue of Professional Photographer. Float Wraps are similar to Gallery Wraps or Standout mounted prints in that they add dimension by extending out from the wall. Float Wraps are unique in that they appear to be floating on the wall with the main focus on the image! Create a modern photographic display with a Float Wrap wall collage that is ready to hang once removed from the box! 
Float Wraps are created by wrapping a photograpic print or canvas print around masonite to create a thin wrap. The print or canvas is protected with a laminate and padding is added between the print and the masonite to give the front of the Float Wrap a raised, elegant look and feel. The back of the Float Wrap is complete with a black paper backing and a black 3/4" thick gaterboard block that allows the Float Wrap to extend out from the wall. The back of the block also contains drilled holes for hanging. Or, if you'd prefer to display your Float Wrap on an easel, you can order your wrap without the gatorboard block. Float Wraps are available on Fine Art Canvas with a Semi-Gloss laminate or Metallic Canvas with a High Gloss Laminate. Lustre or Metalic photographic prints are finished with a matte laminate. Float Wraps are available in popular sizes from 8x10 to 20x30. |
