What You Will Do

This is a Ruby developer position responsible for engineering and maintaining components for both web and mobile applications. You will be responsible for architecting, engineering, and implementing code for new and current projects and features. You will be working with a group of passionate people who share the same excitement for technology as you.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage server-side development for mobile and web projects, including new features, product updates, and new product ideation/prototyping
  • Work closely with designers, other developers and management
  • Develop and scale applications running on AWS EC2/S3
  • Work with databases at scale (be that MySQL, Postgres, etc)
  • Integrate with third-party APIs
  • Mindful of best security practices and keeping users data safe & secure 

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years experience with Ruby development
  • Expert understanding of Rails or other Ruby frameworks
  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JS
  • Solid object-oriented design skills, knowledge of software patterns, and experience architecting scalable modular code
  • Good organization skills, including the ability to manage your own projects and time
  • Strong desire to work in and contribute to the team

Bonus Points

  • Built backend services for iOS apps in the past
  • Experience writing and maintaining unit tests

What You Will Do

This is an iOS developer position responsible for engineering apps for iOS devices. You will be responsible for architecting and implementing code for new and current projects and features.   • Own and manage architecture and engineering of iOS projects, including new features, product updates, and new product ideation/prototyping.
  • Build accurate products from design mockups. 
  • Work closely with designers, other developers, and management.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of programming experience.
  • 1 year of iOS experience.
  • Expert understanding of Objective-C, Cocoa, and Cocoa Touch.
  • Experience working with remote back-end services via restful APIs.
  • Experience testing and debugging across multiple devices and iOS versions.
  • A preoccupation with staying on top of iOS and mobile technology trends.

Who You Are

This is a front-end developer position responsible for building and maintaining HTML/CSS/JS used in user facing products. Some days you'll be writing fresh code from scratch, others you'll be making small improvements to help make our existing products & services even better. 

Responsibilities

  • Developing front end code focused on providing a world-class user experience
  • Writing well-structured HTML with cross-browser compatibility in mind
  • Writing modular CSS using modern techniques and progressive enhancement
  • Working closely with designers, other developers, and management to determine product scope, interactions, and features
  • Integrating with server side code written by other developers
  • Recognizing differences between deployment targets and coding based on their capabilities (HTML email vs. Responsive HTML5)

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of web development experience 
  • Expert understanding of modern HTML and CSS
  • Familiarity with Javascript libraries such as jQuery, YUI, backbone.js and using them when appropriate.
  • Experience writing JavaScript that is object-oriented and extensible
  • Understanding of client-side performance trade-offs and browser capabilities
  • Proficient with Photoshop

This is a web designer position and will be responsible for taking concepts, requirements, and technical considerations and crafting them into experiences users love. Some days you'll be working on things that are entirely new, others you'll be making small improvements to help make our existing products & services even better. 

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage design projects, including new features, product updates, and new product ideation/prototyping
  • Manage the design process from initial mockups to HTML/CSS deliverables
  • Work closely with front end & back end engineers and management on implementing finalized designs
  • Writing well-structured HTML/CSS with cross-browser compatibility in mind
  • Integrating with server side code written by other developers
  • Recognizing differences between deployment targets and designing & coding based on their capabilities (HTML email vs. Responsive HTML5)

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years experience in mobile or web design
  • Expert understanding of web design patterns, including navigation and IA, registrations and purchase flows, app interaction, and cross-browser/platform strategies
  • Expert proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, etc.

Maintenance

TX (Mesquite) - Maintenance Equipment Technician

Are you a whiz with troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and computer problems?  Do you have a natural talent for identifying potential problems before they happen?  Do you enjoy taking things apart to figure out how they work?  Would you enjoy joining forces with a talented, hard-working virtual team?  If so, take a look at White House Custom Colour (WHCC), a fast-growing, successful, family-owned company located in Mesquite.  WHCC is headquartered in Minnesota and is one of the largest professional photographic and press imaging companies in the USA.

We are currently seeking a proven Maintenance Technician to join our Mesquite Maintenance team at our manufacturing facility.  This individual will work with another on-site maintenance technician and on-site production manager, as well as management in Minnesota.  The person hired should have a passion for problem solving, enthusiasm & a positive attitude, and a strong desire to learn.

Responsibilities:

  • Organize and maintain the maintenance area including organization of incoming work orders and parts,
  • Conduct machine setup, troubleshooting, and repair,
  • Provide preventative maintenance on our photographic and digital press production equipment,
  • Work with the maintenance team and on-site production manager to prioritize repairs and projects,
  • Provide a high level of customer service, and
  • Be responsible for overall maintenance of the Mesquite facility including, patching, painting, etc.

Requirements:

  • HS diploma, vocational/technical coursework/certification a plus,
  • Minimum of 2 years' proven equipment/repair maintenance technician experience,
  • Demonstrated computer knowledge & skills and mechanical aptitude,
  • Experience operating &/or repairing photographic or digital presses preferred,
  • Knowledge of electronic troubleshooting, photography or printing background including 1-hour mini lab experience, and/or handyman skills are all a plus,
  • Must be detail-oriented, an effective problem solver with a proactive eye for identification of potential problems,
  • Must be a team player who is dependable and has a good attendance record, 
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment always maintaining a positive attitude.
