**Accepted Files**
Prepare your work for printing by saving high-quality JPEG files with an embedded color profile.

- Export files tagged with an RGB Color Profile—P3, Adobe RGB, and sRGB are all great options.
- We recommend saving your files at a JPEG quality of 10 or higher in Photoshop, 90% in Lightroom, or the equivalent in your editing tool.
- Most products are printed at 300 DPI, and we’ll automatically resize your files for printing. For more precise control, you can resize your files and apply any sharpening before submitting.

A heavyweight, dry-mount board at an economical price. Over time, some warping may occur due to its fiber-based nature. For this reason, we do not offer this option at large sizes.

**What is fine art printing?**

Fine art printing is a professional printing process that uses archival-quality pigment inks and museum-grade papers to produce prints with exceptional color accuracy, tonal range, and longevity. At WHCC, our fine art printing uses giclée inkjet technology on curated cotton and cellulose papers designed to last generations.

**What papers are available for fine art prints?**

We offer five fine art papers, each with unique textures and characteristics. Smooth Matte is our most popular — a 100% cotton hot press paper with a smooth surface. Photo Rag Baryta offers an elegant sheen with rich blacks. Aquarelle Rag features a traditional watercolor texture. Torchon has a distinct, coarsely textured surface. Photo Rag Metallic adds a shimmery, glossy finish with underlying metallic elements.

**What's the difference between fine art prints and photo prints?**

Fine art prints use heavyweight, textured papers (typically cotton or cellulose) and archival pigment inks for museum-quality results. Traditional photo prints use silver halide or dye-based processes on smoother, lighter-weight photographic paper. Fine art prints offer greater longevity, richer textures, and a more artistic presentation — ideal for gallery displays, limited editions, and heirloom pieces.

**Are fine art prints archival?**

Yes. Our fine art prints are produced on acid-free, pH-neutral papers using archival pigment inks. When properly displayed away from direct sunlight and humidity, these prints maintain their color and quality for generations. **What is giclée printing?**

Giclée (pronounced "zhee-clay") is a fine art printing method using high-resolution inkjet printers and archival pigment inks. The process produces prints with exceptional detail, color accuracy, and tonal gradation — far surpassing standard inkjet printing. All WHCC fine art prints are giclée printed for museum-quality results.

**Can fine art prints be mounted?**

Yes. We offer several mounting options to give your prints a sturdy backing: Matboard (economical, sizes up to 16×20"), Styrene (our most popular, warp-resistant), Masonite (heavy-duty), and Foamboard (lightweight, great for framing). Mounted prints can also be paired with display stands or easels for tabletop presentation.

**What sizes are available for fine art prints?**

Standard sizes range from 4×5" to 40×60", including popular options like 8×10", 11×14", 16×20", 20×30", 24×36", and many more. Need a custom size? We offer custom sizing for unique projects — contact us for a quote.

**Can I get custom size fine art prints?**

Yes. If our standard sizes don't fit your project, we can accommodate custom dimensions. Custom prints are trimmed to your specifications. Contact us for a quote and assistance with setup.
