The Editor API is the recommended integration path: you redirect your users into our white-label editors to customize their products, and the same API places and confirms the order.
Already have your own product UI? The editors can also run headlessly for many products. Reach out and we will help you scope that integration.

Development environment
We have a staging environment available to use during development. You will need a different set of credentials for each environment.
Stage URL: https://prospector-stage.dragdrop.design
Production URL: https://prospector.dragdrop.design
All of the examples throughout this documentation point to the production hostname.
Basic Flow
- Authenticate and get an access token for future calls.
- Receive a list of products your customers can potentially order. For designed products (cards, ornaments, and designer acrylic blocks), also query the available designs.
- Create an editor session for the product (and, for designed products only, a design).
- Redirect your customer to the response URL where they can edit their product.
- Your customer will return to your return URLs with a payload of completed design information.
- Export the completed editor, create the order, and confirm it. See Ordering for the three-step process.
