MN (Eagan) - Customer Service Representative

White House Custom Colour provides customers with the finest professional quality photographic products and excellent customer service. We are currently seeking motivated, organized, customer-focused team players to join our Customer Service Department. Our team is personable, fun and available Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM - 7:00PM (on three shifts.)

We have the honor of working with the best photographers in the business. Whether our clients are just starting out or are well established, we believe in the vision they have for their success. It is our privilege to work alongside them, offering our personal best in service and care, so that they can “WOW” their clients.

We engage with our clients in a number of ways. You will work one-on-one with a wide range of photographers, helping them get the most out of White House Custom Colour. We solve problems, offer advice and make sure our clients have a product they love. You’ll get to chat on the phone, write helpful and witty emails, make connections through IM and even meet clients face to face a few times a year.

About you:

Even more about you:

  • A minimum of 2 years customer service experience
  • Strong background in photography and/or experience working in the photography industry
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in photography or related field strongly preferred
  • Computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office, intermediate level in Photoshop, and minimum typing speed of 35 words per minute

MN (Eagan) - iOS Engineer

Who We Are

Our engineering team is an integral part of serving our clients on a day to day basis. We work on a wide variety of important projects; from internal tools to make our processes more efficient, to building consumer-facing apps our customers depend on daily.

You have an eye for design and quality and enjoy solving real problems. You care about those small interactions that will delight users, even if they're harder to develop.

What You'll Do

This is an iOS engineer position responsible for developing apps for iOS devices. You will be responsible for architecting new features and enhancements across current and future projects. You'll be working with a smart, diverse team who is passionate about technology.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage architecture and engineering of iOS projects, including new features, product updates, and new product ideation/prototyping
  • Work hands-on with designers to quickly prototype interactions and perfect them until they are ready to ship
  • Work closely with other developers and management to define both technical and business requirements

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of programming experience
  • 2+ years of iOS experience
  • Expert understanding of Objective-C, Cocoa, and Cocoa Touch
  • Experience integrating remote back-end services via restful APIs
  • Experience testing and debugging across multiple devices and iOS versions
  • A preoccupation with staying on top of mobile technology trends

Be a part of one of the leading providers of printed products to professional photographers in the US!  We are currently seeking a customer-focused IT System Administrator that enjoys a fast-paced, results driven environment.  This individual should have a desire to automate process, work with a modern software, and focus on delivering with a fast speed of execution.  

Job Duties:

Answers support calls and emails
Assists staff with IT-related questions or issues
Provides after hour support
Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Deploy and support Microsoft Windows 2012R2, legacy Windows, and Linux
Excellent understanding of TCP/IP, file and print services, active directory, and group policy
Experience delivering consistent configuration utilizing DSC, chef, or similar configuration management tool
Application deployment experience: maintaining deployable applications utilizing msi or through deployment software such as SystemCenter or similar solution
Supporting RDS (Remote Desktop Service) or VDI infrastructure
Scripting knowledge: powershell or bash
Virtualization experience: vmware or hyper-v
Storage experience: netapp or emc
Performance monitoring experience: ability to measure deployed application and system's performance
Strong customer service skills, organizational skills, communication skills, and the ability to prioritize
The capability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

You value user experience and understand that tiny details make all the difference. You're a problem solver who pushes the boundaries of what's possible in the browser. You see a mockup and figure out how to make it happen instead of coming up with reasons it can't be done.

What You Will Do

This is a Javascript Engineer position. You will be responsible for building and maintaining Javascript + HTML/CSS for user-facing products. We create a wide variety of physical products. You will help build the tools that enable people around the world to understand and order them.

Responsibilities

  • Develop front end code focused on providing a world-class user experience
  • Work closely with designers, other developers, and managers to determine product scope, interactions, and features
  • Integrate with front end + back end code written by other developers
  • Build modular code + frameworks with future use and maintainability in mind.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of web development experience 
  • Experience writing JavaScript that is object-oriented and extensible
  • Familiarity with at least one modern JavaScript framework (React/Flux, Ember, Angular, Backbone, etc)
  • Expert understanding of modern HTML and CSS
  • Solid understanding of client-side performance trade-offs and browser capability issues
  • Strong organizational skills, including managing your own time and projects

What You Will Do

This is a UI/UX design position. You’ll be responsible for crafting concepts, requirements, and technical considerations into experiences that users love. Some days you'll be working on things that are entirely new, others you'll be making small improvements that make our existing products & services even better.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage design projects, including new features, product updates, and new product ideation/prototyping
  • Manage the design process from initial mockups to deliverables
  • Work closely with engineers to implement finalized designs
  • Recognize differences and design patterns of different platforms, designing based on their capabilities (iOS vs. Responsive HTML5 vs. HTML emails)
  • You realize copy is an important base to any solid design, and you sweat the details regarding word choice
  • Regularly prototype product interactions, communicating your thoughts onscreen as well as offscreen, using paper or a whiteboard

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years experience in mobile or web design
  • Expert understanding of web design patterns, including navigation and IA, registrations and purchase flows, app interaction, and cross-browser/platform strategies
  • Expert proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Sketch, etc.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates a keen eye for UI/UX design and problem solving through mobile and web design
  • A preoccupation with staying on top of mobile and web UI/UX design trends
  • Organizational skills, including the ability to manage your own projects and time
  • Strong desire to work with and contribute to the team
