Album & Books Designer FAQs
Yes. We make a custom die from your logo and keep it on file, so it's a one-time setup and every later order can use it. Logo debossing goes on the inside cover, and it's available on Albums and Layflat Books.
Yes. Tick the sample box at review and the album comes at 25% off, with "Sample" foil stamped inside the cover.
Yes. Duplicate the design at another size and the layouts come with it, which is perfect for making a smaller companion album for extended family. Check the duplicate before you order, since layouts can shift slightly to accommodate changing page ratios.
Yes, two ways. Presentation Mode opens a second window with no pricing, options or controls in it, so you can design alongside your client on a studio display or a shared call. Or send a proof link: a scrollable page with the cover and every spread on it.
Only when a photo has to fit a frame that isn't its shape. When that happens, Face Aware Cropping works to keep the faces it finds inside the frame, and you can adjust any crop yourself afterwards.
Yes, all of them. Drag a frame edge to resize it, swap two photos by dragging one onto the other, mirror a layout, or pan and zoom a photo inside its frame. Nothing the designer suggests is locked.
Yes. Autofill turns a whole gallery into finished spreads in one pass, and a slider sets how many photos land on each spread. You can also drop a handful of photos onto a single spread and pick from the layouts the designer offers, then shuffle through more.
No. The Album & Book Designer runs in your browser on the computer you already have. Nothing to download, no plugin, and nothing to keep updated.
Yes. It's included with your free WHCC account, with no subscription and no trial period. We make our money when an album gets printed rather than when a licence renews, so there's nothing to buy before you start.
Yes. The proof link always shows the latest saved state of the product. You don't need to send a new link after making edits — your client will see the updated version automatically the next time they open it.
No. Sharing a proof does not affect your cart or place an order. You'll still go through the normal checkout process when you're ready.
If you have a product that is order-ready and want to share a link that lets customers place an order directly, check out Payment Links. Or if you would like your clients to be able to create and order their own products, one of our Integrated Partner client galleries may be a good fit.
No, the proof page is a view-only resource. Your client's feedback comes back to you through your normal communication channel (email, text, etc.), and you make any needed changes on your end.
Click on Become a Client and fill out the short questionnaire. Your account is opened, and you will receive an email that contains a link to submit up to five 8×10" test files. We will print your files and ship the test prints back to you — all at no charge. The test prints are a great way to test your monitor calibration and view our printing quality.
