Crafted for Life: Gallery Wraps

The craftsmanship and quality materials behind one of photography's most enduring wall art displays.

At WHCC, we believe that the highest standard is not just about printing pictures; it's about showcasing your art in the best possible way. This commitment to excellence is at the heart of our "craftsmanship," which we will continue to highlight with various products. With every product we create, we combine precision, artistry, and heirloom-quality craftsmanship so your clients receive wall art that is as enduring as the memories you capture.

This time, we're shining a spotlight on our Gallery Wraps. Some products become classics for a reason, and Gallery Wraps remain one of the most popular methods for displaying photography, creating wall art as timeless as the memories they hold.

The enduring appeal of Gallery Wraps

Gallery Wraps transform photographs into artwork that feels rich with texture and presence.

The frameless presentation keeps the focus on the image itself, while the texture of canvas adds character and depth that traditional prints simply cannot replicate. The result is wall art that feels intentional, finished, and at home with nearly any style of photography — portraits, weddings, newborns, seniors, landscapes, pets, and everything in between.

"Gallery Wraps create a timeless presentation that photographers and their clients keep coming back to. There's a reason they've been a studio staple for decades.”

Built with materials that matter

What sets our Gallery Wraps apart often starts with what your clients never see.

Every wrap is built using solid poplar wood stretcher bars, the same hardwood used in traditional fine art canvas, creating a strong, stable foundation that gives the finished piece its substantial, premium feel. Available in both 1½″ and 2½″ depths, the thicker profiles add dimension and help images stand out from the wall.

Canvas options, border choices, and custom sizing allow you to create a presentation tailored to both the image and your client's space. Whether it's a large focal piece above a fireplace or a custom wall arrangement, the flexibility is there to bring each vision to life.

Crafted details, from start to finish  (option 1 if we want to lay it out step-by-step)

Creating a Gallery Wrap is about more than stretching canvas around a frame. Every Gallery Wrap begins with quality materials and ends with skilled hands.

Printing

Each canvas is Giclée printed directly onto canvas using Epson archival inkjet printers, producing rich color, exceptional detail, and the professional quality your clients expect from their wall art.

Laminating

Before stretching, each canvas is laminated with a protective finish that guards against scratches, scuffs, and UV exposure, preserving the image through the everyday life happening around it.

Stretching

Every canvas is carefully hand-stretched over solid poplar wood stretcher bars. This step is done by hand to ensure even tension across the entire surface, with no warping or uneven edges.

Inspection

Before it ships, every Gallery Wrap is inspected by our production team. As many of them are photographers and artists themselves, they examine every detail to ensure that the print mets our highest standards.

Crafted details, from start to finish  (option 2 if we prefer it paragraph form)

Every Gallery Wrap begins with the foundation itself.

Our Gallery Wraps are handcrafted using high-grade canvas and premium materials designed to create a display worthy of the images they showcase. Each piece is Giclée printed directly onto canvas using Epson archival inkjet printers to produce rich color, exceptional detail, and the professional quality photographers expect from their wall art.

From there, every canvas is carefully stretched by hand over solid poplar wood bars, creating a finished piece that feels substantial, sturdy, and ready to display.

Because craftsmanship is found in every detail, the process is designed not only to create beautiful wall art, but to create wall art that maintains its integrity for years to come.

Display options that work for every space

Gallery Wraps arrive ready to hang and pair beautifully with a range of display options.

  • Sawtooth hangers and wire hangers for a clean, simple presentation
  • Float Frames: pair your Gallery Wrap with one of our wood or metal moulding options to add a polished, finished edge and elevated look

For maximum impact in your studio, we recommend showcasing a large sample, such as a 20×30″ Gallery Wrap. This size is a natural starting point to help clients see the scale and texture in person and sells the product more effectively than any description can.

The art of what you deliver

The products you deliver become an extension of your photography and your brand.

Quality craftsmanship helps reinforce the value of printed artwork and creates confidence in the products you present during your sales sessions. When clients see thoughtfully crafted wall art built with premium materials, they are not simply purchasing a print. They are choosing how their memories will live in their space.

Because when a product is crafted with intention, it becomes more than wall art.

It becomes something built to last.
