Color Correction

Color Correction is a file adjustment service where a member of our Artwork Team uses their best judgement to adjust the files on your order. Color Correction is applied to all files on the order and cannot be partially selected for an order. While this service is available for all types of imagery, it is geared towards getting balanced skin tones. With other types of photography the Artwork Team will judge what they feel will look best for the image but it is more arbitrary. 

The team will make adjustments to the color and exposure of the files but stop if skin tones begin to have a color cast or highlights are blown out. The adjustments made with Color Correction are global across the entire file and because of this, we cannot color correct composite files with multiple images. Color Correction does not include any localized adjustments, retouching, or skin smoothing. However, those adjustments are available through our Retouching and Artwork services.

Color Correction is only available on select products when ordering in ROES. It is not currently available for orders placed through the website. You can select Color Correction on the right-hand side of the Checkout screen before completing your order in ROES.

If you would like copies of your adjusted files you can also select the Burn a CD of this order option in the same section at Checkout. If you don’t have a disc drive, digital file delivery to your Studio Projects is available upon request for the same fee.

Retouching

Retouching is an overall facial smoothing that removes slight skin imperfections. This will not remove major skin imperfections like significant acne/markings. This is priced per file based on the number of people in the image. We can only correct all faces, not a partial selection.

Retouching can be selected under the Options section once a file is entered in the main layout.

Artwork

Artwork is more extensive retouching such as braces removal, fixing glasses glare, removing more significant skin imperfections, head swapping, background adjustments, and more. Artwork adjustments are limited in what can be done. We cannot correct for red eye, hot spots, banding, or out of gamut color. Artwork is charged by the minute with a 15-minute minimum across the entire order and not by individual file.

Artwork can be selected under the Options section once a file is entered in the main layout. Notes should be included to explain the adjustments you are looking for.
