Project Share Link Overview

Studio projects help you stay organized by grouping your gallery of images and the products you create together in one place. Project share links enable you to invite clients, or anyone you share the link with, to review and edit Card, Ornament, or Designer Acrylic Block designs that you create within the project. You can also allow your clients to browse our full collection of design templates to select and customize their own, depending on your preferred workflow.

Project share link pages have a minimal, neutral style with no mention of WHCC. The project name and your studio name are displayed at the top of each page, and we plan to add additional customization support in the future so you can further align the experience with your branding.

Anyone with a project share link can:

  • View select products you create in the project. Currently, this includes 5x7 Flat or Folded Cards, Bamboo or Acrylic Ornaments, and Designer Acrylic Blocks created using our drag-and-drop design templates
  • Choose their own designs to customize, which are saved to the project for you to review, edit as needed, and order once approved. This is an optional feature that you can enable or disable on a per-project basis.
  • Edit the products visible on the project share link, which lets you start a few design options for a client while empowering them to finalize the text content or swap images, saving time on the back-and-forth of small content changes. 
    • Product pricing is hidden for collaborators in the designer at this time. We suggest providing your clients with your pricing information along with the project share link.

How to Use Project Share Links

  1. Visit the project you want to share with a client to collaborate on designs.
  2. Use the “Share Designs” button at the top of the page to create a share link, or access one you have already created.
  3. In the Share Designs dialog, you can review what anyone who receives the share link will be able to view and do. Then use the “Create Link” button to generate your share link.
    1. To enable your clients to browse our full library of designs to make their own selections, make sure the “choose their own designs to customize” switch is set to on. 
    2. If you wish to limit their options to only the designs you fully customized or got started for them, turn the “choose their own designs to customize” switch off. 
  4. Copy the share link at the bottom of the dialog, then share it with your client via your preferred communication channel (email, text, etc.).
  5. When your clients inform you of the design(s) they want to order, you can review them in the Studio project and make final adjustments as needed. To place the order, you can either: 
    1. Add the approved product(s) to your cart and proceed to checkout as usual, either shipping back to your studio or drop shipping directly to the client.
    2. Create a payment link to collect the client’s payment and place the order simultaneously. These orders are drop shipped directly to the client.
